Sometimes it is quite clear that a child is struggling.

For example they may be engaging in acting-out behaviours, are having trouble with their peers, experiencing difficulties concentrating with their work or are frequently tearful or feeling ill.

Children who do not display the tell-tale symptoms above may also be experiencing difficulties and an example of their behaviour may be quiet compliance.

Whatever the reason for a child not seeming to be reaching their full potential, one-to-one counselling, play therapy or group therapy may be able to help. Restore aims to offer a safe place for each child to explore, express and let go of their difficult feelings.

Regular supervision is given to the counsellor, who in addition to being a qualified counsellor (Diploma of Higher Education), is a qualified teacher, holding a Batchelor of Education with Qualified Teacher Status.
