Trustees Needed!
About the charity
Restore Counselling, Training and Related Services is a small Christian charity which was set up in November 2015. Serving Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas, the charity provides professional, affordable counselling and therapy services to children, teenagers and adults. A bursary fund enables people not to be turned away due to lack of finances.
Restore upholds a Christian ethos and demonstrates Christian values. The charity believes this partners well with the services offered, and that it is a Christian principle to offer help to those who are hurting and to see hope, healing, wholeness and, ultimately, restoration in people’s lives. Therefore, all our therapists and trustees are Christians and agree to Restore’s Statement of Faith. However, Restore’s therapists will not impose their individual beliefs and will not seek to promote or advance Christianity. They will respect everyone they see, no matter what religious beliefs (if any) the client holds.

Volunteering opportunities
Gardening

Restore has a paved garden which has flower beds, a vine and pots and planters. This is a wonderful safe space for clients and therapists to enjoy. If you could volunteer some time to help us maintain this, that would free up more time for us to focus on what we do best: holding therapy sessions.
Cleaning

Restore’s premises have been described as homely and peaceful. It is beautifully kept and spread over 3 floors. We are looking for people who could volunteer to help us to keep the building clean and in turn know that it remains a safe haven for many.
