ABOUT THE WAY I WORK
When working with individuals, I will firstly become attuned by how a person may present themselves, which then informs me around which theoretical modality I may work from, such as Humanistic, C.B.T., Psychodynamic or Systemic frameworks.
When working with couples and families, I practice evidence based and strength-based models, to help improve and understand relational dynamics, behaviours and stuck patterns, as we collaboratively explore together through the lens of the clients' world.
This may include focusing on emotional bonding, reflecting on historical experiences, or changing current thought patterns and teaching new communication skills.
My practice is strongly underpinned by a deep embodiment of spirituality which I believe plays an important part in human experience. This shapes my compassion and reflexive approach when supporting children, adults and their families, whilst maintaining openness and respect for people from all faiths, cultures and world views.
Through this process, I aim to support and encourage the development of empowerment, liberation, resilience, self-respect and self-love.
I have completed training to equip me to work online with clients and offer this service in addition to working face to face
